Picture of the month 77 (May 2024)

When this picture was made, the F100 (11364) was only half a year old. It had made its maiden flight in November 1991. Few weeks later it was delivered to TAT (Transport Aérien Transrégional), painted all white and with registration F-GIOH, which proved to be an error. In early 1992 it was correctly registered as F-GIOG and was prepared for an intended lease to Air Guadeloupe, including the livery. However, the lease transaction failed to materialize and the livery was removed after short time. The aircraft served some 30 years in France, before it was acquired by Air Panama. In 2019 it was withdrawn from use and is still awaiting its fate in Panama. (unknown photographer; Dinard, May 1992)
