Alliance Airlines has entered into an agreement with AerCap for the acquisition of another 30 Embraer 190 aircraft. Once delivered in early 2026, the Alliance fleet will consist of 100 aircraft, 37 Fokker F70/F100s and 63 Embraer jets.

Fokker Next Gen is investigating a possible production site for its future hydrogen-driven jet in Latvia, more specifically in the Liepaja Special Economic Zone. The company recently signed three contracts with Latvian partners for closer cooperation.

10642 500RF 4R-EXH Former Fits Aviation F27 4R-EXH (10642) is on exhibit on poles at the Yayasan Sultan Agung school in Batam City, Indonesia. For a picture see Fokkernews 33. The aircraft is visible on Google Earth (1.1163, 104.0962).
20109 50 SE-MFY PopulAir. Left the paintshop at Lelystad 27 November in new livery and returned home to Malmö as APF9710.
20223 50 5Y-SMO Dragonfly Aviation. A new Kenyan startup took this F50 into service recently, according to their website still in all-white livery.

Fokker F28, Fokker 70 & Fokker 100

11268 100 4O-AOL The administrator of Montenegro Airlines sold this F100 to Airline Fleet Support B.V. in The Netherlands. The aircraft is no longer certified to fly, so will most probably used for parts.
11332 100 4O-AOP Also Hashtag, a Serbian company, bought a non-flyable F100 from the Montenegro Airlines liquidators, obviously for spares. In addition, Hashtag bought four F100 engines.
11334 100 VH-FNC Virgin Airlines. Sold to Alliance Airlines and to be transferred once withdrawn from use. Plan is to part it out at Rockhampton.
11391 100 VH-FSW Virgin Airlines. Also sold to Alliance Airlines for parts. The aircraft is still stored at Singapore-Seletar in all-white colors.
11395 100 2-RFZA For the record, this ex-Carpatair F100 entered the Guernsey register on 9 November 2023. Owner is Airline Fleet Support B.V. in the Netherlands.
11461 100 VH-FNT Virgin Airlines. Cancelled from the register 1 December 2023. The aircraft was parted out for spares at Singapore-Seletar.
11489 100 VH-FNJ Virgin Airlines. Also sold to Alliance Airlines for parts and currently also stored at Singapore-Seletar in an all-white scheme.

The Historic Aircraft Restoration Society is working hard to get their Friendship VH-TQN (10680) in flying condition ready for the 2024 season,. Currently it is receiving the original Trans Australia Airlines blue livery. (Merv Crowe; Woolongong, 28 November 2023)

 

At a steady pace of one aircraft per month PopulAir is receiving its F50s painted in the new colors. The fourth one, SE-MFY (20109), departed to Sweden immediately after it rolled out of the Satys paintshop. (Richard Poeser on Flickr; Lelystad, 27 November 2023)

As the last European airline, Carpatair said goodbye to its final Fokker aircraft: F100 YR-FKB (11369). It flew to Woensdrecht for onward storage, awaiting sale or another destiny. (Carpatair; Timisoara, 29 November 2023)

 

Network very recently retired VH-NQZ (11505) from active service and prepared it for long-term storage: the engines were removed and the aircraft was completely taped in. (F. Moron; Perth, 1 December 2023)
