General news

Air-Britain reported that Iran Aseman Airlines has succeeded in acquiring three F100 engines; the source of the engines was not disclosed, but might well be from ex-Montenegro aircraft; see Fokkernews #72 at c/n 11332).

According to several sources Jubba Airways will sell their F50 fleet and replace with Boeing 737 equipment.

11018 1000C TC-54 Argentine Air Force. Seen 11 September 2025 at the boneyard of the Fábrica Argentina de Aviones in Córdoba, missing many parts.
11024 1000C TC-55 Argentine Air Force. Seen 11 September 2025 at the boneyard of the Fábrica Argentina de Aviones in Córdoba, missing multiple parts.
11285 100 XA-MRB During many years this ex-Mexicana F100 has been a nightclub and restaurant in the shopping center of Cuautitlán Izcalli, not far from Mexico City airport. Since October 2024 it is no longer visible on Google Earth; the current location is unknown.
11373 100 VH-FNU Alliance Airlines. Instead of being scrapped, this F100 was ferried 7-10 October 2025 from Brisbane to Darwin (with a technical diversion into Cairns) and further to Johor Baru, Bangalore, Al Ain, Alexandria to Woensdrecht, painted all white. We guess that Africa may be its next destination.
11471 100 P2-ANC Air Niugini. Made its last flight to Port Moresby on 22 February 2025 and is in storage since then.
11570 70 PZ-TFB Fly All Ways. After having been impounded at Bonaire the F70 returned to Paramaribo on 16 July 2025 and was put into storage.
11585 70 XY-ARA 2-PJAB The Guernsey registration was cancelled on 10 September 2025 as sold to Malaysia. According to Scramble the F70 was seen on 14 September as XY-ARA with a Myanmar hex code during a flight from Kuala Lumpur-Subang to Yangon, Myanmar. At Subang it had been pinging callsigns 001 and 005 at different times. The suspicion is that it may be destined for the Myanmar Air Force, but to be confirmed. Perhaps to be given serial 001 or 005?

On the premises of Fábrica Argentina de Aviones in Córdoba is a boneyard with four Argentine Air Force Fokkers: Troopships TC-71 (10403) and TC-74 (10408) and Fellowships TC-54 (11018) and TC-55 (11024). All are in poor condition and missing various parts. The dump is visible on Google Earth at -31.444, -64.261. (Fuerzas de Defensa Argentinas; Córdoba, 11 September 2025)

The lease of 5Y-RNG (20120) to Aerojet Aviation has apparently expired and the F50 was returned to Renegade Air, as the F50 was seen in service without any titles. (Andy Davey; Nairobi-Wilson, 1 October 2025)

The newest Fokker operator in Africa is Ituri Airlines in the Democratic Republic Congo. The company plans to operate two F50s, one of which is 6O-JAF (20261), formerly with Jubba Airways. Normally the airline is based in Goma, but temporarily relocated to Kisangani due to the security situation. Unfortunately, the available pictures have disturbing banners over them and might even be an artist’s impression. (Airjournal Ornacrdc on Facebook; unknown location, 7 October 2025)

Having lost titles and almost all color, Alliance Airlines VH-FNU (11373) arrived at Woensdrecht after a four-day long ferry flight. (Kees Harteveld, 10 October 2025)

The operator of this F70 is a bit of a mystery, see table above. XY-ARA (11585) is former 2-PJAB that was painted all white in Kuala Lumpur and departed there on a flight to Yangon, Myanmar. (Lensa Ayit; Kuala Lumpur-Subang, 14 September 2025)
