A number of Friendships were delivered to companies that were active in the oil and mining industry. PK-CFD (10362) flew for Caltex Pacific Indonesia from 1968 to 1983, transporting staff and equipment between Jakarta, Pekanbaru, Dumai (on Riau island) and Singapore. It was named “Riau”, after the main production site and it carried long-range pylon tanks. After 15 years, it continued its career with Pelita and Sempati and was eventually scrapped in 2001.
