PT Sabang Merauke Raya Air Charter (SMAC) was an Indonesian airline that was based on Polonia airport in Medan on Sumatra island. It was established in 1969 as an air taxi company and developed into a larger airline. After a fatal accident on Bintan island in 2011 the Indonesian civil aviation authorities suspended SMAC’s licence and the airline went defunct.  SMAC had used two Fokker Friendships from 1994 to 1997 on domestic services.
