A new airline in East Africa? Sabar Airlines is announcing flights from Nairobi to Mogadishu, Hargeisa and Juba, as from 13 January 2026. Their all-jet fleet includes Fokker 70 and 100. So far no sightings have been reported.
Air Niugini plans to complete the phasing out their Fokker fleet by late 2027, now it has started to operate the Airbus 220. Three out of thirteen ordered are already in operation.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 20129 | 50 | 7Q-CGX | (D6-MOH) | Operator unknown, but possibly Kush Air. Noted at Juba airport in April 2026 in basic Kush Air color scheme, no titles and left-hand engine missing. It would be tempting to speculate that 7Q-CGX has something to do with 5Y-CGX (20333), also a Kush Air F50, but the latter one has a different livery and repainting does not seem likely. The tie-up needs confirmation. |
| 20198 | 50 | 6O-GAM | This F50 was noted active at Mogadishu on 5 May 2026, operating for Starsky Aviation. It has become clear that it is owned by Bestlink (a company created by the Somali Government) and operated by the Somali Air Force. If not in use for government duties, it can be chartered for civil flights, in particular for humanitarian use. | |
| 20256 | 50 | ET-AYQ | East African Aviation. Noted receiving some technical attention at Juba on 24 April 2026, all white without titles. | |
| unknown | 50 | unknown | Parked behind 7Q-CGX (see 20129 above) was an unidentified F50 that carried 'Let Us Fly Together' behind the cockpit. | |
| unknown | 50 | 7P-IHS | Another unidentified F50 was seen in September 2025 at Juba. It was all white with an unknown logo on the tail. See picture below. |

| 11020 | 1000C | TC-53 | Argentine Air Force (LADE). After a period of inactivity and some maintenance, the world's oldest flying Fellowship is in the air again. On 30 April 2026 it made test flights from El Palomar Air Base to Paraná and to Junin. The next day it participated in an air parade of the Argentine Air Force at Moron Air base. On 5 May it flew a scheduled passenger flight from Buenos Aires-Aeroparque via Mar del Plata and Bahía Blanca to Comodoro Rivadavia and return as 5U504. | |
| 11281 | 100 | VH-XWP | Alliance Airlines. Still stored at Perth on 5 May 2026, more parts are gradually removed for use on other F100s. | |
| 11373 | 100 | 5Y-MMX | 2-HFNU | The Kenyan registration was noted on the aircraft on 9 May, but the real registration date is unknown as yet. The aircraft is believed to be owned by Orion Air. It was delivered from Woensdrecht to Nairobi-Jomo Kenyatta on 18 and 19 May, with fuel stops at Luxemburg and El Alamein. The operator is not entirely clear, as various sources disagree: Alta Wings, Jubba Airways and Renegade Air are all mentioned. |
| 11450 | 100 | VH-FSQ | Alliance Airlines has reportedly sold this F100 to Kenya. It was flown from Perth via Port Hedland, Johor Bahru, Bangalore, Hurghada, Sofia to Woensdrecht 3 to 6 May 2026 as SXI2615, presumably for pre-delivery maintenance. | |
| 11487 | 100 | EP-SUS | Karun Airlines. Reportedly destroyed during US and Israeli operations Epic Fury and Roaring Lion in March 2026. The aircraft was broken up at Ahwaz since April 2024. | |
| 11565 | 70 | VH-QQV | Alliance Airlines. This F70 was seen at Perth 5 May 2026; it is now evident that it is donating parts for use in sisterships. | |
| unknown | 100 | unknown | An unidentified F100 was seen in March 2026 on Juba airport, all white with Kush Air titles. The registration could not be read on the photo. |
Fokker pictures
Stored for almost four years now at Juba after its failed take-off in June 2022 is Icon Aviation 5Y-CCE (10370). In contrast to what was expected, the substantial damage seems to have been repaired; compare with the pictures in Fokkernews 55. However, the right-hand propellor does not look healthy. (Mikedonsky; Juba, 20 April 2026)
The Malawian civil register has been supplemented with this 7Q-CGX, most probably former D6-MOH of Kush Air (20129). (Mikedonsky; Juba, 24 April 2026)
South Supreme Airlines F50 C5-SSA (20138) was damaged beyond repair back in January 2014. Eleven years later the wreck was still at Aweil airport, South Sudan, in poor condition. (Dut Kulang; Aweil, July 2025)
A hitherto unknown F50 from an unknown operator, registered in Lesotho, is 7P-ISH. The tail logo seems to say WAWI or something similar. (Mizanur Rahman; Juba, September 2025)
Waiting for its delivery flight to Kenya is 5Y-MMX (11373), formerly 2-HFNU and VH-FNU. The operator is not yet known, see table above. (Werner Verbogt; Woensdrecht, 9 May 2026)
Alliance Airlines VH-FSQ (11450) arrived at Fokker Woensdrecht after a ferry flight that started in Perth four days earlier. Only the red ring around the engine reminds of its past with Virgin Australia. (Ralph Hamaker; Woensdrecht, 6 May 2026)
