Picture of the month 104 (August 2026)

Indonesian airline Sempati Air operated seven F100s, and when the F70 became available, the airline ordered the smaller Fokker jet, too. Two were delivered before the Fokker factory came into financial difficulties and ten further orders had to be cancelled. The first F70, PK-JGI (11529), was delivered in March 1995, the second one week later. Sempati operated this PK-JGI no more than 2.5 years. Eventually it went to Tyrolean Airways/Austrian Arrows and since 2019 it is active with Alliance Airlines in Australia. (Remi Dallot; Jakarta-Sukarno-Hatta, 13 October 1995)
